Steve (T M H): Question from Soopman. What's the meaning behind your new album "The Private Room?"
Avant: The last two CD's were not as successful as I wanted them to be. This one I'm giving back to the fans and letting them have a little more imput.

Steve (T M H): Question from Big J. What effect do you want this album to have on your fans?
Avant: I want it to make them feel good, when they listen to the CD. I'm taking on new scenarios and I want you to visualize every song.

Steve (T M H): You've stayed away from big name producers from the start, do you think that has held you back successfully or helped you career wise?
Avant: I think it was a balance of both, I want to get my name out. Steve Huff came in and he understands my style, so we've kept a long lasting business relationship.

Steve (T M H): What inspired "Don't Take Your Love Away?"
Avant: Kobe Bryant and his wife inspired that song. During his press conference on how she has stuck by him through it all. I wrote it based on that.

Steve (T M H): Question from Soopman. Do you have plans to branch out in anything else besides music?
Avant: Movies, actually I will be in the up-coming sequel to Barbershop. So be looking out for that. I am also looking at other scripts and you'll see me in more films.

Steve (T M H): Question from Silk. How do you feel about the R.Kelly comparisons?
Avant: I don't look at the comparison as negative. R. Kelly is the best at what he does, so hats off to him. It's better to be compared to the best then someone that's not even around anymore.

Steve (T M H): Are there plans to record another track with KeKe Wyatt?
Avant: I'm actually helping out right now on Keke's new album. There will also definitely more songs from us together to come.

Steve (T M H): Do you have any touring plans?
Avant: There is no concrete tour plans for who I will be going out with right now or where I'll be going. Those plans are being made now.

Steve (T M H): What is the next single or what would you like it to be?
Avant: I want the fans to pick the next single.

Steve (T M H): Who are some artists you would like to work with?
Avant: Michael Jackson is who I would love to work with the most. Other than that, anybody who feels my vibe and I feel theirs.

Steve (T M H): Any last words for your fans?
Avant: I want to say thank you so much for the love, support and appreciation for everything. Thank you for embracing me and hopefully making me your #1.
