Brandy | Interview (2002)

Aries (T M H): What type of album did you set out to make when you started "Full Moon?"
Brandy : One based on my experiences over the past three years. Falling in love, falling out of love, being hurt, - and then finding someone really special.

Aries (T M H): What single would you say from "Full Moon" is your most personal or favorite & why?
Brandy : I don’t have a favorite - sorry. They all are my favorites.

Aries (T M H): Your mother is a good friend of mines & has taught me a lot about the (music) business, as your manager what has she taught you about the business side of your career?
Brandy : My mother has taught me many things about the business, some that stick out are: the business is vicious; nobody owes me anything and always make sure the paper is right.

Aries (T M H) : What kind of tour can fans expect from Brandy later this year?
Brandy: I plan to tour in September 2002. I look forward to meeting my fans, giving them an edgy show, and topping it off with some pleasant surprises. I want to give them something to get excited about!

Aries (T M H): Being a wife now & a mother soon, how did you think your fans would react & why?
Brandy: I thought my fans would be happy for me and so far I'm right.

Aries (T M H): Did that influence your decision to announce both?
Brandy: So many rumors were spreading; I felt my fans needed to hear from me. Although I felt this was my personal life, I wanted them to get the right information from me - they deserved that.

Aries (T M H): What do you want your fans to know about you & your life now at this point?
Brandy: My fans should know that I’m still a human being, I should be able to grow and make mistakes like everyone else, I should be able to have a private life, I’m happy, looking forward to being a mom and appreciate all of their support over the years.
