Aries (UBG): How excited are you about this album?
Ginuwine: I'm very excited about this CD, it is my fifth CD.

Aries (UBG): I know you worked with Danger, but Timbaland was suppose to be apart of this project also, what happened?
Ginuwine: Yes he was. That was the plan but we couldn't get our schedules together.

Aries (UBG): What separates "Back II Da Basics" from your past albums?
Ginuwine: Growth and maturity. I'm definitely more comfortable with myself ...and I did less songwriting on this project.

Aries (UBG): How are Solé and the kids?
Ginuwine: Fantastic! We have a strong family.

Aries (UBG): How do you differentiate Ginuwine from Elgin?
Ginuwine: Business vs. Reality!

Aries (UBG): What is Ginuwine thankful for this year?
Ginuwine: That I'm still here and able to entertain after ten years in the business.

Aries (UBG): Are you currently writing and/or producing for other artists?
Ginuwine: No, not yet but I will be. I would love to write and produce for Mary J. Blige.

Aries (UBG): How do you feel about the current state of R&B?
Ginuwine: It needs to be brought back to the way it was. Rap music is taking over. You can't play Rap to make love.

Aries (UBG): In Those Jeans and Stingy are my all time fav. Ginuwine songs, what are your top 5 fav songs from yourself?
Ginuwine: Pony, Difference, Those Jeans, So Anxious and #1 Fan.

Aries (UBG): 10 years in the game, what's your best and worst memory of being a recording artist?
Ginuwine: Best: Hearing my song on the radio for the first time.
Worst: Not getting recognized for my achievements when I'm at award shows.

Aries (UBG): What's next for Ginuwine?
Ginuwine: Movies and commercial.
