Pleasure P: I don't know, it's strange (laughs). I'm just really excited and even more excited to hit the road.
UrbanBridgez.com: Tell me about your up-coming album release.
Pleasure P: The album is great, right now I'm in the process of picking the 12 songs to go on it. It's hard to choose between the ones I want on the actual album compared to all of them I recorded for the album. I'm trying to pick the ones that will be just as easy to do live than in the studio. Some songs are easy to record in the studio, but hard on stage with the dancing and addedlayers of my voice. It's just gonna be crazy! Introducing Marcus Cooper, tells the listener who I am, you get to know me personally. That was important to me to get that across with my first solo release.
UrbanBridgez.com: What can fans of your expect from it that they didn't get when you were in Pretty Ricky?
Pleasure P: Expect to hear me really sing and to hear me and just me on the tracks. It's all me and there are some really hot hooks. I think you can really hear my vocal maturity with this record.
UrbanBridgez.com: What's your relationship like with the guys of Pretty Ricky now?
Pleasure P: I honestly haven't talked to them in awhile. But I love them and I wish them the best!
UrbanBridgez.com: What's going on with Swagger Entertainment?
Pleasure P: We're about to do it really big!! Me and Bryant McKinnie of the Minnesota Vikings started it. We have some acts on deck and we just about to kill em!
UrbanBridgez.com: What's are you playing currently in your iPod?
Pleasure P: T.I., Lil Wayne, B.O.B,. Lupe they have the best music out right now!
UrbanBridgez.com: Any touring dates coming up for you?
Pleasure P: If my fans go to my MySpace page it will always be updated with any dates I have at the moment. I keep it updated when I have them scheduled.
UrbanBridgez.com: What else are you working on outside of music?
UNK: I'm doing a Clothing Line called Gitz-A-Go and kids line called Gitz. I'm just working man, doing whatever I can get into. I plan to go and do some movies. Just basically living my life.
UrbanBridgez.com: What's next for you?
Pleasure P: I have a women's Jeans line called "Jean Addicts," that's doing really well. I'm developing them and doing another clothing line at the moment. It's for Jeans as well. With those just expect a lot of different colors and they will be out the Spring of 1009.
UrbanBridgez.com: Any last words for your fans?
Pleasure P: I wanna tell them that I love them and thanks for believing in me. I would be nothing without them. Thanks for standing in my corner through everything and I can't wait for them to hear the album!
